This CD was inspired by the television series of the same name, in which 6-year-old Daniel Cook explores his world. With 26 selections ranging from the Daniel Cook Theme Song to traditional nursery rhymes and camp fire songs to children’s favourites like Puff the Magic Dragon, the CD is an eclectic mix of musical styles, including classical, pop, big band, country, polka, hip hop and Celtic. The CD features vocals by Ed Robertson (Barenaked Ladies), recording artist Melissa McClelland, Keith Macpherson (Easily Amused) and Canadian Idol vocal coach, Sarah Morrison.
