Naomi Beth Wakan – After School Reading - visit her blog
Naomi, who is best known for her book Late Bloomer – on writing later in life , has recently published, Book Ends – a year between the covers (Wolsak and Wynn). This witty book traces Naomi's reading diary for a year, and is full of comments on the books she (an obsessional reader) has read, and notes on her life, all interspersed with jottings about Gabriola Island, her home base. In her After-School Reading blog, Naomi will be inspiring you to read for your own pleasure as she shares her current reading diary in monthly entries. Naomi's books in print can be seen at www.naomiwakan.com |
Carol Baird-Krul – Travel Time - visit her blog
Teachers enjoy travelling for a variety of reasons, so I hope you’ll read on because this is the place to find out some interesting and useful travel information. I’ll share some of my travel stories; but I’d like to hear about your adventures too.
- What stories do you have about your trip?
- What should a traveller see and do at that destination?
- What advice do you have for people planning to travel that destination?
I look forward to reading your 'postcards' and posting them for others too read…….
